The Klarerhof lies at the foot of the Wendelstein in a quiet and idyllic location at an altitude of 800m, embedded in the heart of the Upper Bavarian Alps. We meet you here with tradition and customs, culture, a wide range of leisure activities and relaxation at a high level.

We, the Leitner family, warmly welcome you to the Klarerhof in the beautiful Miesbacher Oberland!
Your holiday is very important to us. In addition to the superior and comfortable accommodation, we therefore offer you some additional services to make your most valuable time of the year unforgettable.
We have re-equipped the entire farm with our own heat CHP (wood chips) and power supply (PV systems). The holiday apartments, hut, outdoor area and camping pitches are new or completely renovated.

In our new hut we offer a common room, sauna, common kitchen, relaxation room, sanitary facilities. The spacious terrace invites you to linger and relax.
New: Camping and RV sites – De Luxe
We have 3 new camping and RV sites. A separate electricity and water connection is available for each pitch. We offer a direct view of the mountains and plenty of space for your camping holiday. Sanitary facilities of course.
On request, you can get fresh bread rolls for breakfast every day and drinks for the whole day. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to buy our own farm products, such as B. the milk from our cows or eggs from a neighboring farm.
Restaurants are very close by, e.g. B. in the district of Osterhofen or Geitau. Only a 15-minute walk and you can enjoy good, home-style cooking. Everything has been thought of and you can relax all along the line.
In the holiday apartments, the prices apply to a minimum stay of 7 nights. Short stays must be requested separately. Our holiday apartments are ready for you to move into from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, and you must leave by 9.30 a.m. on the day of departure.
Bed linen, hand and bath towels as well as tea towels can be found in the apartment. You can use the free WiFi. You are not allowed to bring any pets with us.

We, your hosts, are Barbara and Kajetan Leitner, the children Kajetan jun. and Marlene are married and run the business together with our mother and my sister Kathi.
The Klarerhof was first mentioned in a document in 1488.
Our company has been running "holidays on the farm" since 1986.
We are an active farm with grassland use and grazing without arable farming. Every farmer is proud of his animals. Our farm has 45 dairy cows of the "Bavarian Fleckvieh" breed.
We also rely on our own offspring. Like all cattle on the farm, they are driven out to pastures or alpine pastures during the summer. . Our offspring includes about 50 young cattle and calves.
This is an important basis for our healthy animals, which are simply allowed to experience the "mountain world" firsthand, with its lush mountain meadows and pastures here in the Tegernsee-Schliersee Alpine region.
In 2010 we built a new spacious freestall barn with a De Laval milking robot. Of course you can watch the animals in our barn and actively experience what is happening in the barn.
Our company has been breeding Simmental cattle since 1890 and we are founding members of the Upper Bavarian Simmental Breeding Association in Miesbach.
Of course there are other animals on the farm besides the cattle (horses, rabbits, sheep, cats).
